Ice-pocolypse 2018, what's good?

So.... I was led to believe that there was going to be some sort of snowfall here in the DFW area over the past few days, and I have been sorely disappointed. So, in light of all my inner-child-like wonder being dashed by the ever-fickle whether, I created a makeup look that gives me all the ice vibes that I needed.

I was totally inspired by the glistening and gleaming quality of frosty snowflakes. This look was so fun to create; it allowed me to use colors I don't usually wear very often, and to not take makeup too seriously. Winter can be a little dull, so I wanted to be creative, and give a whole new meaning to an icy stare. I kept the eyelids a frosty silver, and then lined the lower lash line with a pale blue. I topped my cheekbones with a duo chrome highlighter that shifts from lavender to ice blue. It's gorgeous in the sunlight as well in the shade. It enhanced the cool tones of the shadow and perfectly tied the whole look together.

While creating this look, all I could hear in my head was the voice of Riverdale's Veronica Lodge saying "You wanted fire? Sorry, Cheryl Bombshell. My specialty is ice." Ahhhhhh such a great line. Veronica is my forever mood.

Plus, these constellation ear crawlers are my absolute favorite right now. I love all things stars and galaxies, so when I saw these beauties at Target, I had to scoop them up ASAP. They fit the aesthetic of glittering ice, so I had to wear them. Do you like these earrings? Have any similar to mine? Comment below!!
