Red Carpet Series: Taylor Swift AMAs

Mother of snakes. Queen of the red lip. Music industry maven.

Taylor Swift is no stranger to the red carpet or inspiring the masses through her various beauty transformations. We had curly-haired Taylor, Red era Taylor, polished and preppy Taylor, right down to the newer, grittier version during her Reputation Tour.

All-in-all, Swift didn't come to play, and the same is true during the American Music Awards.

Instead of stepping out on the carpet with the now-iconic ruby red lips, Taylor stunned with her graphic eyeliner, glowing skin, and nude lips. Plus, the fringe is really speaking to me. ALSO, her disco ball dress and thigh-high boots? I DIE FOR THEM. (I will delay my never-ending raptures on her fashion for another day.)

Truly, she was shining that night, and it wasn't solely from her reflective dress. As she croons in her beloved album, she's "doing better than [she] ever was"and MAN does it show. There is something so seductive and enigmatic about this new Taylor. I am really drawn to this new side of her, and if this is how she is going to be representing herself in terms of beauty/fashion??

So here, I am paying homage to the MOS by trying my hand at recreating her makeup from the AMAs. It's clean, simple, yet very special with the double winged liner.
