New and Now: Fenty Beauty

It has happened. The music industry's cool girl herself has dropped a cosmetics collection.

You all know who I am talking about. Bad girl RiRi has launched her own beauty brand and everyone is here for it.

Truth be told, I was not overtly excited upon hearing of the new release. I wasn't salivating at the mouth waiting for Sephora to drop any hints or post BTS photos.

What got me invest, you may ask? Well, I saw some of her collection featured on Byrdie's Instagram stories at the launch party during NYFW.

I was officially shook.

Her collection carries an astounding range of 40 shades of foundation ($34). Such inclusion is unheard of in the cosmetics industry. The only other brand that I am aware of that carries that many shades is Makeup Forever. Everyone can find their perfect match.

But, it's the highlighters that stole the show for me. We all know that I am a glitter enthusiast, so naturally, I would gravitate towards the illuminators. They come in both powder and stick formulas.

Can we please talk about her Killawatt Highlighter in the shade 'Trophy Wife' ($34). It is literal gold. I want it all over my body. It is so unbelievably pretty once applied to skin, because I know it can be a bit terrifyingly bright in the pan. It's also Rihana's favorite... nbd.

But I also am loving the the Match Stix in the shade 'Confetti' ($25). It's an iridescent lilac, and it fulfills all of my unicorn dreams. Anything that will attain Zenon, Girl of the 21st Century vibes makes me a happy camper. (Let's be real, that was everyone's favorite DCOM). ((Fight me))

Her line is being sold at Sephora or online at her Fenty Beauty website.

I promise, you'll be seeing Fenty Beauty all across Instagram, YouTube, and more. Comment below and tell me your favorite products in her line, and tag me on Instagram if you purchase any of her cosmetics!

Thanks for reading!
