Slip Dress and Summertime

The month of May is in full swing, and *thankfully* the semester is finally over! I am so relieved and excited for the coming summer months. But let's be real, I am sooooooo exhausted. Finals has fried my brain, and I am seeking comfort and ease in almost everything at the moment, including fashion. Anytime I find an outfit or an article of clothing that is equal parts cute and comfort, I become the happiest girl in the world. This rose tone silk slip dress is effortless and flows in the breeze. It came with this soft, stretchy white t-shirt. The comfy level is maxed out with this look!! I kept the makeup clean and simple, not wanting to do anything that required more than 10 minutes. And once the sun goes down and the temperature dips down with it, I added on my oversized denim jacket. Because, let's be real, denim makes everything better! To give this soft and feminine dress a hit of edge, I wore a pair of studded ankle boots.

Okay, now I'll let you in on a little secret. This dress was $10!!!! I found it on clearance, and my jaw just about dropped to the floor. An employee of the store had to help me pick it back up. (lol, that was not accurate) Not only am I mentally exhausted from the semester, but I'm also broke. So finding this gem for only $10 was a major score. I anticipate on making this dress a constant in my summer and fall wardrobe, just don't tell when you see me wearing this too often. Lizzie McGuire said it best, "The only thing worse than an outfit repeater is an outfit rememberer!"

For any of the Rockwall/Heath ladies out there, this dress, necklace, and ring are from Groovy's. The dress comes in this rose tone and in a pale green. Go grab one before they're gone!!!
